Member Competitions

EMCY is an umbrella organisation for around fifty different music competitions all across Europe: from Lisbon to Lithuania and from Cardiff to Kiev! Without our members, EMCY wouldn’t exist: it’s our job to support and promote them, to keep them up-to-date with new directions and developments, and to act as a hub, bringing them all together at our events.

Some of our Member Competitions celebrate the works of a particular composer, or performer, or nationality; others focus on certain instruments, disciplines, or on chamber music. What they all have in common is their commitment to young people and their musical education. That’s why they’re part of the EMCY family.

You’ll find the full list of EMCY Member Competitions at the bottom of this page; alternatively, use the search engine to find a competition offering your instrument or in your country.

If you run a competition and are interested in applying for EMCY Membership, or in finding out the benefits of being a member, please get in touch with the EMCY Office.
