Background: The Adriatic Music Competition, founded in Ancona in 1999, was designed with an aim to encourage young people to move forward in their musical studies and to give candidates an opportunity of meeting and listening to other musicians.  We hope that the concert we are offering in 2008 to the first prize winners of the competition will create a particularly stimulating experience during their young careers.
