Young Music Talent 2009: Final Competition SJMN

On Sunday, 6th of December, the Final Competition of the Competition 'Stichting Jong Muziektalent Nederland' took place in Concert-Congreshall de Doelen in Rotterdam, the harpist Remy van Kesteren won the title 'Young Music Talent 2009'.

Remy lives in Utrecht and was born in 1989. He teacher is Erica Waardenburg.

The 'Young Music Talent' Prize is a sum of money of € 5.000, provided by the Dr. Hendrik Muller's Vaderlandsch Fund.

There were two other prizes for the finalists with the level of the 'Young Music Talent' of the year approached the closest. Anton Spronk, cello, received the second prize and Dana Zemtsov,viola, the third prize. It is a sum of money of € 1.000 and € 500 for an individual available.

They were judged by an international jury, consisting of Conrad van Alphen, Pieter Prick, Michel Tilkin, Neil Wallace, chairwoman Annett Andriesen.
