Kulturna Agencija Lane d.o.o. and the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Ljubljana arranged a concert together on Friday 9th of April in Ljubljana City Hall. Both Ingrid and Christian are talented musicians. Ingrid is born in 1992 and has already won several prizes and competitions. This fall she will start her education at the Royal Danish Academy of Music. Christian is born in 1990 and has also won a remarkable share of prizes and competitions. He is now a first year student at the Norwegian Academy of Music, and has earlier performed in several European countries. Ingrid and Christian have both been students at the talent program “Young Musicians” at the Grieg academy in Bergen.

The concert in was impressive, and the audience enjoyed beautiful music. The two young musicians have clearly put a lot of time and rehearsal into their work. The concert consisted of five different pieces, where music from several composers, among them Chopin and Grieg, were performed. Also a relatively young composer, Ian Clarke (1964 - ) was represented with ”The great train race”, a remarkable piece performed as a flute solo.

After the concert the embassy hosted a reception, where the audience got a chance to talk with the musicians and the organizers of the concert. All in all it was a successful and joyful evening.
