Review of the International Autumn Festival for Music 2011 in Iserlohn (Germany)

The International Autumn Festival for Music in Iserlohn (Germany) was held successfully from 11th – 16th October 2011.

It all started with a concert given by Akiko Suwanai (violin) and Itamar Golan (piano) at the Parktheater Iserlohn. The next two days, Akiko Suwanai led an international master class. Two EMCY prize winners, Piotr Jasiurkowski and Aleksander Daszkiewicz from Poland, have received a scholarship to take part in this master class and also prize winners from the Schweizerischer Jugendmusikwettbewerb participated in it.

The whole festival ended with a concert performed by the violinist Akiko Suwanai, the Philharmonic Orchestra Hagen under the baton of Florian Ludwig and the Sinfonieorchester der Musikschule Iserlohn.
