Scholarship for Violin Master Class In Iserlohn

In the framework of the 'Internationale Herbsttage für Musik' in Iserlohn (Germany) Akiko Suwanai, a Japanese violinist will give a master class for violin from 11th to 16th October 2011 in Iserlohn.

Akiko Suwanai, youngest winner of the International Tchaikovsky Competition, plays the 'Dolphin' Stradivari from 1714 that formerly belonged to Jascha Heifetz. She will give a opening concert on 11th October at 20:00 and a closing concert on 16th October at 11:00 at the Parktheater Iserlohn. Active participants of the master class will receive single lessons in morning and evenings in front of the group or follow the advice of the guest artist. Lessons will be held in English. Passive participation is also possible (limited number). The lessons will start on Wednesday, 12th October and end with the 'Concert of the Master Students' on Friday, 14th October.

Application deadline is 30th June 2011.
