The 6th International Saxophone Competition took place in two age categories. The competition started on June 30 with the qualification round of the category 2 and concluded on July 3 with the finals of category 1 and 2. One of the most attractive things for the competitors of category 2 was (besides the prizes) the final concert in which the finalists performed with the Slovene Philharmonic String Chamber Orchestra.
