Alexander was born in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk (Russia). At the age of six he moved to Tver and began to practice music at the Art School No.1 in Tver. His teacher was Kirillova Alla Markovna. He is about to start his studies at the Moscow State College of Music Performance of Frédéric Chopin.

He was awarded the Golden Medal at the Russian Delphic Games in 2008, the Grand Prix at the International Bluthner Competition in 2010 and the 2nd prize and the EMCY Prize at the International Competition for Young Pianists 'A Step Towards Mastery' 2011.

He also participated in the International Rheingau Music Festival and the International Festival 'Moscow Meets Friends'.
