Ander, born in Donostia-San Sebastián (Spain), started learning accordion at the age of ten at the Academy of San Sebastián with the teacher P. Palacín, and finished the Professional Degree with M. Bikondoa and S. Cencillo. He participated also in master classes of Matti Rantanen, James Crabb, Stefan Hussong, Geir Draugsvall. Currently he is studing in Musikene (Conservatorio Superior de Música del País Vasco) with Iñaki Alberdi.
He won 1st Prizes at the 'Certamen Guipuzcoano de Arrasate' in 2009, and at the Saint Anastasi Competition and at the Concurso Permanente de Jóvenes Intérpretes in 2010.
Ander has performed in America and some European countries such as France, Germany and Italy, with orchestras and solo. He has also performed for TV and radio, and worked with composers such as Mikel Urquiza and Rubén Cid. He performed at the premiere of Assur by Mikel Urquiza, which won the Francisco Escudero Composition Prize in 2009.
