Andrea was born in Valencia (Spain) in 1989. She finished her professional and higher flute studies with high qualifications and also with the final degree prize, unanimously granted.
She won several awards throughout her career: the 2nd Prize in the IV National Competition of young musicians 'Villa de albuixech' (2001), the 2nd Prize in the I National Competition 'Dolores Sendra' (2002), the 1st Prize in the National Contest 'Ciutat de Xátiva' modality C (2005), Final Middle Grade’s Award (2006), Final Degree Award (2010), the 1st Prize in the National Contest 'Ciutat de Xátiva' modality B (2011), Accesit Prize in the National Competition 'Ruperto Chapí' (2011), the 2nd Prize in the Concurso Permanente de Jóvenes Intérpretes (2011).
She has worked in the followings orchestras: J.O.N.D.E (National Youth Orchestra of Spain – 2008), O.F.U.V. (University of Valencia’s Youth Orchestra - 2010), GRUP INSTRUMENTAL DE VALENCIA (Professional Contemporary Orchestra - 2007), O.S.V. (Valencia Symphony Orchestra - 2007), and ANTIPHON ENSEMBLE PROJECT (Contemporary Orchestra – 2008)
She is going to study at the Royal College of Music, London for a Masters Degree in Orchestra Performance. She has studied with the following flautists: José Mª Sáez Ferri, Magdalena Martínez, Vicens Prats, Philippa Davies, Simon Channing, J. Artaud, Raffaele Trevisani, Salvador Martínez, Antonio Núez, and Fernando Gómez.
