Andrea Goleva was born in Sofia, Bulgaria. Since 5th grade she has been a student of Professor Georgi Spassov and participated in his master classes in 2007, 2008 and 2010.

For several years now, she has participated successfully in many competitions. In 2008, she won the 2nd Prize at the XXI Svetoslav Obretenov National Competition in Provadia, Bulgaria. Furthermore she was awarded the 3rd Prize at the VIII Competition for the Implementation of German and Austrian Music 'M.A.G.I.C' (Burgas, Bulgaria) and at the International Radio Competition for Young Musicians 'Concertino Praga' (Prague, Czech Republic), both in 2009. She also took part in gala concerts in Prague and in the southern Czech Republic. In 2010, she received 3rd Prize at the III International Competition for Japanese and Bulgarian Music 'Young Virtuosos' (Sofia, Bulgaria) as well as the 1st Prize at the International Youth Music Festival-Competition 'Hopes Talents Masters' (Dobrich- Albena, Bulgaria). There, Andrea also received a nomination for the Grand Prix and a certificate for a master class of Professor Georgi Spassov. Moreover she was awarded the 2nd Prize both at the Competition for Performance of Bulgarian Professional Music 'Varban Varbanov' (Burgas, Bulgaria) and at the National Competition for Woodwind Instruments in Rousse, Bulgaria. In 2011, she performed successfully at the International Competition for Young Musicians 'Ohrid Pearls' (Ohrid, F.Y.R. Macedonia) winning the 1st Prize of her age group as well as the EMCY Prize and the 3rd Prize of the whole competition.

Since 2009, Andrea has played in the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Deyan Pavlov. Furthermore, she gave a solo concert accompanied by the Sofia Sinfonietta Orchestra in 2011.
