Bogdan, born in Uman (Ukraine), began to sing at the age of four, and decided to try to perform on trumpet at the age of eleven. He started his musical career at the Music School of the Uman Music College in the class of V. A. Bezpoyasny. In 2007 he was admitted to the Odessa Secondary Vocational Music School named after P. S. Stolyarsky in the class of I. Barukh, under whom he continued his studies at the Odessa State A. V. Nezhdanova Musical Academy. Currently Bogdan is a second year student of the N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov Saint Petersburg State Conservatory in the class of Prof. Boris Taburetkin.

Bogdan won 1st Prize at the competition 'XXI Century Art' 2004 in Vorzel (Ukraine), Grand Prix at the 'Competition of Trumpet Performers in memory of Starovetsky' 2005 in Ternopol (Ukraine), 1st Prize at the 'Contest in memory of E. Kok' 2008 in Chişinău (Moldova) and 1st Prize at the Mravinsky International Competition for Youth 2010 in St. Petersburg (Russia).
