Jérôme was born in Brugg, as the youngest of four children. He began playing Euphonium at the age of six. He has been taught in private lessons by Jan Müller. Jérôme took part at the advancement of talented musicians of the grammar schools in the canton Aargau from 2009 to 2011, which gave him the possibility to participate in many workshops with professional musicians. Jérôme won a 2nd Prize in 2009 and a 1st Prize in 2011 at the Schweizerischer Jugendmusikwettbewerb.
