Juan Pedro was born in Iznatoraf (Spain). He began his musical studies in his hometown at the age of 5. When he was 7 years old he started his studies at the Ramos de Pareja Conservatoire in Baeza, and later studied at the Jaen Conservatorie with saxophone teachers like Alfonso Padilla and Marcos López. This degree he finished with best qualifications.

He also had master classes with Gilles Tressos, Cristhophe Bois, Manuel Ureña, José Antonio Santos, Federico Coca, Mariano García, Andrés Gomis, Juan Jiménez, Joël Versavaud, Miha Rogina, Daniel Gauthier, Jean Yves Formeau, Vincent David, Arno Bornkamp, Claude Delangle and Eric Devallon.

Juan Pedro was awarded with the 2nd Prize at the Saxophone Competition in Jaén (Spain) and he has also won the First Prize and Special Award for the best interpretation of a Slovenian work in the 6th International Saxophone Competition (Nova Gorica) in Slovenia. In 2009 Juan Pedro was chosen to receive a master class with Claude Delangle in Utrera (Sevilla), and in 2010 he was also selected to receive another master class with him in Granada.

Juan Pedro is the saxophone soloist and the 2nd conductor of the music band of his hometown, Iznatoraf. Since April 2010 he is taking part in the Municipal Band of Jaen. He has the title of the International University of Andalucía as an expert in musical interpretation of saxophone.In 2011 Juan Pedro is in the 3rd year of his Superior degree of music with his teacher Juan Jiménez in Sevilla, and was awarded with Honorable Mention in 2010.
