Julie was born in Brandýs nad Labem, but lives currently in Prague, where she studies at the Prague Conservatory with Dana Vlachová, an excellent violinist and chamber musician.
She is a multiple winner of the 'Plzenec kit' and the Violin Competition of Josef Muzika in Nová Paka (Czech Republic). In 2001, 2005 and 2008 she won the category 'Solo violin' at the national competition of Primary Art Schools; in 2008 she also received the Prize of the Lord-Mayor of the City of Liberec for the best performance of a Czech piece. In 2004 and 2007 she won the same competition in Jinrichuv Hradec in the category 'Chamber music'. She has also won three times the 2nd Prize and two times the 3rd Prize at the International Kocian Violin Competition in Ústí nad Orlicí (Czech Republic). At the national competition Prague Junior Note 2008, she received, as the winner of the category, the prize of Inter-Podium o.p.s. and also the prize of PhDr. J. Micka for an extraordinary performance of the piece of the 20th century composer. In 2010, she received 1st Prize at the International Radio Competition for Young Musicians 'Concertino Praga' (Czech Republic) in the category 'Violin solo', 2nd Prize and also the special jury prize - the Great personality of the competition - at the International Georg Philipp Telemann Violin Competition in Poznan (Poland) and in 2011, she received 5th Prize at the International Competition for Violin, Kloster Schöntal (Germany).
Julie performs often abroad, for example recently at the Opera House in Bayreuth (Germany), in Amman and at the amphitheatre in an archaeological site Petra (Jordan). She also plays regularly with domestic chamber orchestras like the Virtuosi Pragenses and the Quattro and has worked with the Bohuslav Martinu Philharmonic Orchestra, the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra, the North Czech Philharmonic Teplice and the Pilsen Philharmonic Orchestra. As a soloist she performed in previous periods at the International Music Festival Radio Autmn, the Brno International Music Festival Moravian Autumn, the Smirice Music Festival , the music festival 'Klášterecké hudební prameny', the festival 'Kocian's Ústí' and the Festival Tóny Chodovské tvrze (all in Czech Republic). Furthermore she released her first own CD entitled 'Julie' in September 2010 with pieces composed by J. Brahms, P. de Sarasate, M. Ravel, O. Ševcík, F. Ondrícek and E. Ysaÿe.
