Lora started her musical education at the Lubomir Pipkov National School of Music in Sofia and is now continuing her studies in the trumpet class of Pencho Penchev at the National School for Music and Dance in Plovdiv. She has a wealth of experience of playing in different bands and orchestras, including the Orchestra of Plovdiv State Opera and the Symphonic Orchestra of the Stara Zagora State Opera (as a soloist). Lora has participated in master classes with Vesselin Bozhinov, Mnozil Brass, Gabor Tarkovi and Nikolaj Viltoft.

Lora has won many prizes at national and international competitions in Bulgaria including the International Competition for German and Austrian Music in Burgas, the National Competition for Young Trumpeters in Stara Zagora, the National Competition for Young Performers Diko Iliev in Vratsa, the National Competition for Young Talents of the Sindikalen Dom na Transportnite Rabotnici v Bulgaria in Sofia, and the Young Virtuosos International Competition in Sofia. In 2010 she was awarded the second prize at the IVth International Competition for Young Performers – brass and percussion in Surmi Bukovini (Ukraine). Lora received the first prize in the trumpet category of the International Competition for Young Musicians 'Ohrid Pearls' 2011 and performed in the grand final.
