Lukas Stasevskij is a young Finnish, Ukrainian virtuoso cellist, a student of professor Arto Noras at the Sibelius Academy.

He has also participated in master classes with Frans Helmersson, Young Hoon Song, Mats Lidström and Chillingirian Quartet. He has played with several orchestras as a soloist and in solo and chamber music recitals in Finland, Estonia, Sweden, England, Russia, and in Poland.

In February 2011 Lukas Stasevskij won the 4th prize at the Witold Lutoslawski International Cello Competition and performed with Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra.
