Fascinated by new artistic trends, Manu has premiered a lot of works by composers like Hèctor Parra, Ramón Humet, Danilo Casti, J. M. Guix, Joan Magrané, Sirah Martinez or Nuria Jimenez, working with conductors like Luzt Köhler, Clement Power, Jonas Kaufmann and Georges-Elie Octors. He regularly works with Sonia Megías (a young Spanish composer resident in New York) and premiered her differents performance – multimedia  pieces like Puerta Colgada del vacío in Madrid at the Sala Tabacalera (2010) or Senso Cenas in Maralba Restaurant (2013).

His chamber music and orchestral experience led him to play with Ensemble Barcelona 216, Orquestra de Cadaqués, JONC (Catalonia Youth Orchestra), OJRM (Murcia Youth Orchestra), ‘Jonc Filharmonia’ Orchestra, OSRM (Murcia Symphonic Orchestra), and many more, with which he has performed in Europe (Spain, Germany, France, Italy, Austria, Slovakia, Switzerland, England and Portugal) and in E.E.U.U (New York and Chicago) at Festivals like Festival Grec (Barcelona), Quincena Donostiarra (San Sebastián), Mid West Festival (Chicago), Huddersfiel Contemporary Music Festival (England) and at concert halls like Lincoln Center (New York), Auditorio Nacional (Madrid), L’Auditori, Palau de la Música Catalana, Gran Teatre del Liceu (Barcelona) Auditorio del Kursaal (San Sebastián), Bratislava Radio Hall, Bosendorfer Hall (Wien).

In 2011 he created AR3NA Dúo de Percusión together with the Spanish percussionist Alex Tarrero, working on contemporary music for percussion duo, and performing in several Festivals in Spain and Portugal such as Música als Jardins, Fundación Pau Casals, Festival de la Ribagorza, Clásicos en la frontera, HARMOS festival in Oporto, Euroclassical Festival ...  AR3NA has also premiered pieces of different Spanish composers like Fabià Santcovsky and Omar Sala y Jesús Ramírez.

In  2012 he worked on a monographic project about Greek composer Iannis Xenakis, and he finished his degree in May 2012, with a monographic concert about this composer, playing his pieces Okho, Pleïades, Rebonds and Dmaathen. Currently, he is working on a new project with the Spanish saxophone player Patricia Cadaveira, debuting in December 2013 in Calgliari (Sardinia, Italy) and with future projects in Portugal and Spain (Galicia and Andalusia).

He has attended a lot of master classes with tutors like Jean Geoffroy, Gustavo Gimeno or Katarzyna Mycka, but Sisco Aparici (Spanish percussionist specialized in contemporary music), and Swedish percussionist Markus Leoson were his main influences in this field.
In 2013 was was awarded the 1st Prize at the Concurso Permanente de Jóvenes Intérpretes.

At the moment, Manu is doing a Master Program in ESMAE, Oporto (Portugal), with teacher Miquel Bernat, working on a investigation about Iberian Peninsula contemporary music composers for percussion.
