Born in 1996, Mindy is currently a scholarship student of Professor Zakhar Bron at the Hochschule für Musik in Cologne (Germany). Mindy began violin lessons at the age of four in a Suzuki violin class, and later studied with Li Lin at the San Francisco Conservatoire. In 2008, she attended the Perlman Music Programme, headed by Itzhak Perlman.

Mindy has taken top honours in a number of music competitions. In 2009, she won 1st Prize and the EMCY Prize at the International Competition for Young Violinists K. Lipinski and H. Wieniawski in Lublin (Poland). In 2008, she received 3rd Prize at the Yehudi Menuhin International Competition for Young Violinists in Cardiff (UK), and in 2007, she was the Grand Prize winner in the Junior Division of the Stradivarius International Violin Competition in Salt Lake City (USA).

Her concert experience includes solo performances with the Oakland East Bay Orchestra, the Palo Alto Philharmonic and the Salt Lake Symphony Orchestra. She has been invited as guest soloist to perform at the Festival Assisi nel Mondo in Italy, the Art & Symphony Music Festival in Switzerland and the Gina Bachauer International Piano Festival in the USA. Since her move to Germany in 2008, Mindy has taken part in Professor Bron’s master classes in Belgium, Croatia, Switzerland, Poland and Russia.
