Mireia Frutos is currently studying  at the Conservatoire of Music of Aragon (Spain) with the professor Miguel Ángel Ortega Chavaladas, where she has master classes with Josep Colom, Dominique Weber, Elisabeth Leonskaja, Blanca Uribe, Kaja Han and Luca Chiantore. She also has chamber music lessons with Kennedy Moretti.

She has participated in many piano courses, taking lessons with Julian Martin, Robert McDonald, Marta Gulyás, Begoña Uriarte, Karl-Hermann Mongrovius, Jose Ramón Méndez, Dominique Weber, Andras Hamary, Marc Durand, Andrew Ball, Alexander Kandelaki, Claudio Martínez Mehner, and the Casal’s Quartet.

Mireia has been awarded prizes at many competitions: she obtained 1st Prize in the 'Concurso Permanente de Jóvenes Intérpretes' (2010), 1st Prize at the 'Marisa Montiel Piano Competition' (2011 and 2009) and others.

She had her premiere with orchestra in 2008 playing Mendelssohn’s second piano concerto and giving a concert tour in Spain and Italy. She also received 1st Prize in the Competition for Orchestras 'Acordes Caja Madrid' (2008) with this concert which was broadcast for RTVE (Spanish TV).

Mireia was chosen by EMCY to participate in its 2011 'Stars of Tomorrow' chamber music tour in Germany and Austria.
