Nikita Burzanitsa has been playing music since the age of six. Since 2008 he has been enrolled in school for gifted children in the class of Professor N. Chesnokova. During training, Nikita played at the following international and national competitions and festivals:

2008 – the winner of the 7th International festival-contest “Consonance” (Mariupol, Ukraine)
2009 – 1st place winner of the 5th Ukrainian competition “Klasyczny Marden” (Kyiv, Ukraine)
2010 – laureate of the 1st award at the 10th International festival-contest of the Children's and youth performing arts “Chords of Khortytsia” in the nominations “the solo1st with the orchestra and the solo instrument l1st” (Zaporozhye, Ukraine)
2011 – laureate of the 1st prize at the 11th city festival of young talents “New Name” (Donetsk, Ukraine)
2011 – 1st prize at the 9th International competition for young pianists in memory of Vladimir Horowitz in the group Horowitz – Debut (category “B” and “D”), (Kiev, Ukraine)
2011 – 1st prize at the 8th International competition for young pian1sts. A. Karamanov (Simferopol, Ukraine)
2012 – The first prize winner of the International piano competition “The way to master volume” (Rostov-on-don, Russia)
2012 – 2nd prize winner of the VI International competition A. D. Artabalevski (Moscow, Russia)
2013 – Grand Prix and 1st Prize at the V International Piano Competition M. Moszkowski "Per aspera ad astra" (Keltse , Poland)
2013 – Winner of International music competition and festival “Sberbank Debut” (Art1stic director D. Matsuev)
2014, 2015  –2nd and 3rd prize prize winner of the II and III International Competition for  young Pianists “Astana Piano Passion” (Astana, Kazakhstan)
