Nikola Dragosavac was born in Belgrade (Serbia) and started piano lessons at the age of eight. Having studied under Olga Bauer during his primary education at a musical school, he is now a pupil at the secondary musical school “Dr. Vojislav Vukovic”, still in Bauer's class.

Since he began his schooling, he has achieved exceptional results in a wide range of competitions, both in Serbia and abroad. Up to now, he has won more than 15 1st Prizes in competitions in Serbia. At the International Piano Competition Kosice (Slovakia), he has won 3rd Prize (2005), 2nd Prize (2007) and 1st Prize (2009), playing at the final prize winners' concerts.

He won the 2nd Prize at the competition in Gorizia (Italy) in 2008, and 1st Prize in Banja Luka (Bosnia and Herzegovina) in May 2008.

Having been invited and sponsored by the French professor of piano Michel Sogny, he twice took part in his master class, also playing in concerts in Switzerland in June/August 2006.

In 2009, he played in the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts Hall, the prime venue for Serbia’s young and promising musicians.

Nikola has been invited to participate in EMCY's "Stars of Tomorrow" Tour 2010.
