Aleksander Ulriksen is 19 years old and studies classical percussion at the Grieg Academy, Bergen. His main teachers there are Peter Kates and Håkon Kartveit. Aleksander started to learn percussion at the Bergen Music School with Rolf K. Seldal as his teacher. He has been soloist with amongst others the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra and Norwegian Army Band Bergen. In 2010 he was a semi-finalist in the Norwegian 'Young Musicians' competition. Aleksander has attended several courses and masterclasses with among others Nebojsa Jovan Zivkovic and Wieland Welzel. He has won several prizes including 1st Prize at the Norwegian Music Competition; in 2009 as soloist and in 2010 with Duo Saxorimba. Aleksander plays regularly with Bergen Symphonic Wind Band and Bergen Youth Symphony.

Håvard is 14 years old and from Bergen in Norway. He has played saxophone for seven years at the Bergen Music School. His main teacher has been Siri Øverland. In addition he has played with Marc Margolis during a one-year-stay in Boston, USA; and currently with Lene Strand and Rene Wiik. Håvard is also playing with the Bergen Youth Big Band. Although classical saxophone is his main interest, he has also performed together with the jazz musicians Dag Arnesen and Sigbjorn Ulveseth. Håvard has won several prizes, including five times 1st Prize at the National Music Competition of Norway; two times as soloist, two times as Duo Saxiano (with Christian Sommerfelt, piano); and in 2010 as Duo Saxorimba.

For the last year Aleksander and Håvard have played together as Duo Saxorimba, which last year won the 1st Prize at the National Music Competion of Norway. They have played at several concerts and festivals in Norway, including Nordlysfestivalen in Tromsø.
