Sofija was born in Prilep (Macedonia) and has studied at the 'DMBUC' Music High School and at the Faculty of Music Arts in Skopje with Prof. Oleg Kondratenko. She has also participated in seminars and master classes with Prof. Blagoja Dimceski, Prof. Izabela Sergeevna Golovina, Prof. Petar Sheppard Skaerved and Prof. Sihana Badivuku.
She has won several prizes at international music competitions: 1st Prize at the International Violin Competiton 'Kornelija Bronzeti' Campina 2000 in Romania, special prize at the International Violin Competition 'George Enescu' 2001 in Romania, 3rd Prize at the International Competition 'Ohrid Pearls' 2002 in Macedonia, 1st Prize at the International Violin Competition 'Etide i Skale' 2003 in Croatia, 2nd Prize at the International Competition for Young Musicians 'Ohrid Pearls' 2004 in Macedonia, 3rd Prize at the International Violin Competition 'Musicians of the new millenium' 2004 in Macedonia, 1st Prize at the International Competition 'Mocartijana M' 2006 in Macedonia, 3rd Prize at the International Violin Competition 'Nadjalka Simeonova' 2006 in Bulgaria and 1st Prize at the International Competition for Young Musicians 'Ohrid Pearls' 2006 and 2008 in Macedonia. In addition she also won 1st Prize at the national music competition in Macedonia in 2001 and 2004, and 1st Prize at the national competition for chamber music in 2008.
Sofija has given numerous recitals in Macedonia and performed with Macedonian Philharmonic and Youth Orchestra. She has participated also in Ohrid Summer Festival 2009 and at the opening of the International Competition of Young Musicians 'Petar Konjovic' in Belgrad (Serbia) in 2010. In 2010 she also performed with the Young Euro Classics Orchester in Berlin, Zajacar, Skopje and Pristina.

Sofija was chosen by EMCY to perform in its 'Stars of Tomorrow' Tour 2011 in Germany and Austria.
