Veronika, born in Vienna, began her flute lessons at the age of twelve. Additionally she has been taking piano lessons since the age of seven. Since 2006 she has been attending the 'special classes' of the Johann Sebastian Bach Musikschule (project of the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna) in the class of Mag. Sonja Korak. She has also participated in master classes of Prof. Barbara Gisler-Haase, Prof. Janos Balint and Walter Auer.
Veronika has won 1st Prizes at the Austrian national competition 'Prima la Musica' in 2007 and 2009. In 2008 she was, as the youngest participant, one of the finalists of the international 'Jeunesses Musicales Competition' in Bucharest (Romania). In 2009 she won with the flute quartet '4-tissimo' 1st Prize at the international chamber music competition held during the 'European Music Festival for Young People' in Neerpelt (Belgium). In November 2009 she was awarded the 1st Prize at the international flute competition in Sieradz (Poland). In 2010 she won 1st Prize at the International Competition of Young Musicians 'Petar Konjovic' in Belgrad (Serbia) and 1st Prize with the flute quartet '4-tissimo' at the Austrian national competition 'Prima la Musica'.
In 2009 Veronika performed with the 'Young Vienna Soloists' as a soloist on a concert tour in Japan and in summer 2010 she had another concert tour in Japan and China. She also represented Austria at the EXPO 2010 in Shanghai and gave other concerts in Czech, Germany, Hungary and Poland. As a soloist she perfomed with the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Franz-Schmidt-Chamber music Orchestra.
In January 2011 she won the Austrian selection "Musica Juventutis" and will give a debut in March 2012 in the Schubertsaal at the concert hall in Vienna. Furthermore she received 1st Prize and Special Prize for the best performance of the compulsory piece at the International Radio Competition for Young Musicians 'Concertino Praga' in February 2011. In addition to that she became overall winner of the whole competition wherefore she was awarded the 'Helena Karaskova Prize'.
Since autumn 2011 she has studied at the University Mozarteum Salzburg in the class of Prof. Michael Martin Kofler.
