Yuliya was born in Minsk (Belarus). In 2000, she entered the State Music College of the Belarusian Music Academy, and has since been studying piano under Professor Natallia Tashchilina.
She has won several prizes at national and international competitions: 2nd Prize and special EMCY Prize at the International Competition of Young Pianists dedicated to the Work of Fryderyk Chopin 2010 in Narva (Estonia), 1st Prize at International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition for Children and Young People 2010 in Antonin (Poland), 1st Prize at the Open piano competition of Fryderyk Chopin 2008 in Grodno (Belarus), 2nd Prize at the International Competition of Young Pianists dedicated to the Work of Fryderyk Chopin 2008 in Narva (Estonia), 1st Prize ('the absolute winner' - 100 points of 100) and also 1st Prize at the category 'a piano duet' at the International music competition 'Citta di Padova' 2007 in Padua (Italy), 1st Prize at the International Children's Competition of Piano Duets 'Brother and sister' dedicated to L. Brook 2007 in St. Petersburg (Russia), 3rd Prize at the International Piano Competition of Chopin for Children and Youth 2005 in Szafarnia (Poland), 1st Prize at the International German and Austrian music competition for young pianists 'Klaviermusik' 2004 in Vilnius (Lithuania), 2nd Prize at the International 'Music of Hope' competition 2003 in Gomel (Belarus).
She also has participated at the International Vladimir Spivakov's Festival 'Moscow meets friends' 2007 in Moscow (Russia) and in the master class with Professor Konrad Elser at the European Music Academy Bonn 2009 (Germany).
Yuliya has repeatedly performed with the National Chamber Orchestra of Belarus and the State Symphony Orchestra of Belarus. In addition, in 2004 she played with Kaunas Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Paul Berman at the International Piano Festival of Young Musicians in Kaunas (Lithuania) and in 2009 with the Symphony Orchestra of the Belorussian State TV and Radio Company under the direction of Czeslaw Grabowski.
